Image Submission for the New FLPPSNY Website

FLPPSNY is inviting every one of our current members to submit an image (or two or three) of theirs, to be used on the new FLPPSNY website.  These can be new images or some of your favorite all-time images that are a couple of years old. Images should be 900 pixels wide on the longest side @ 72dpi. If you have horizontal images, they could potentially be used for the changing slider on the home page. Images may be cropped to fit the web constraints. If you have any questions, please feel free to send them to Alex Solla.   info@alexsollaphotography.com

Upcoming: The March Meeting will be a Sunday Bowling Event with Sports Photographers showing attendees how best to photograph the bowlers. Save the date – March 24   April 6-9 is our State Convention, PhotoNorthEast. Register here: http://photonortheast.org/   For the April meeting, we are making plans for a Massage Therapist to give us tips for keeping away the pain. The Finger Lakes Section of PPSNYS, Inc. will hold it’s monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Nonna’s Trattoria One Railroad Place Geneva, NY. 315-789-1638. www.nonnastrattoria.com Business meeting will start at 2:00PM Program starts at 3:30 PM We’ve allotted more time to make sure we get through all the business and planning for the year. Dinner will follow the program. A $5.00 charge will be taken at the door. This month’s program: Digital Print Critique Program Info This month we will hold a Digital Print Critique followed by “Round Table Talks and Tips” presented by several of our Finger Lakes Members. Whether you enter Print Competitions or not, showing your images for critique will help you become more aware of what works in your image and what might be improved. Digital Print Critique Criteria: Maximum of 4 images Files are to be named: Image Title.jpg Images should be sized no more than 2000 pixels
